Utang na Loob

Dear insansapinas,

Para bang utang na loob niya kay Ex-President Erap ang pagkakatanggap niya ng position sa Aquino administration. Kung binabasa ni VP Binay ang history ng Pilipinas, kung hindi niya tatanggapin ang pwesto, siya lang talaga ang VP except Diosdado Macapagal  na walang gagawin kung hindi ang maghintay na maincapacitated o mamatay ang presidente mula pa nang pagkatapos ng Second World War.

Sa bagong Constitution 1987, nakasaad:

The Vice-President may be appointed as a Member of the Cabinet. Such appointment requires no confirmation.

New appointments bared; Binay takes housing post

at wala rin siyang karapatang magkaroon ng maraming empleyadong minana niya sa dating VP Noli de Castro kung wala siyang ibang position. 

 Ito ang mga Vice Presidents at ang kanilang mga ibinigay sa kanilang papel sa pamahalaan maliban sa pagiging Vice-President. 

Before Second World War

1.  Unang Republika ng Pilipinas  (1899-1901). 
  Vice President wasMariano Trias-appointed Minister of Finance

2.  Commonwealth of the Philippines (1935-1944) His vice President was Vice-President Sergio Osmena Sr. – No position because of the war
3. Japanese puppet government

Vice-presidents:
 Benigno Aquino Sr.-the father of Ninoy and grandfather of Noynoy Aquino and Ramon Avancena -no positions
 Ramon Avancena

After Second World War

4. Roxas Administration 
Vice-president  Elpidio Quirino- appointed Secretary of State

5. Quirino Administration - 1948-1953
Vice president was Vice-President Fernando Lopez-appointed as Secretary of Agriculture

6. Magsaysay Administration =1953-1957

 Vice-President was  Carlos P. Garcia -was appointed as Secretary of Foreign Affairs



7. Garcia Administration 1957-1961
Vice-President: Diosdado Macapagal -was never given a position because of politics
8. Macapagal Administration 1961-1965 
Vice-President: Emmanuel Pelaez -was appointed as Secretary of Foreign Affairs

9. Marcos Administration-1965-1972
Vice-President: Fernando Lopez- was appointed Secretary of Agricuture and Natural Resource
10. Martial Law regime -1972-1985
Vice-presidenr position was scrapped
11. Aquino administration - 1985-1991

Vice President :Salvador Laurel -was appointed Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister

12. Ramos Administration  – 1992-1998
Vice-president Joseph Estrada- was appointed Chairman of Presidential Anti-Crime Commission

13. Estrada  Administration - 1998-2001
Vice-President Gloria Macapagal-was appointed as Secretary
of Social welfare.


14. Macapagal  Administration -2001-2004
Vice President : Teofisto Guingona-was appointed Foreign Affairs Secretary

15. Macapagal Administration - 2004 -2010
Vice-President: Noli de Castro- Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
