Photo Op and Photoshop

Dear insansapinas,

Not all photographers know how to photoshop but they can ask someone who can. Why would they?

The DPWH officials may not know how to photoshop but they can ask someone who can.

The photographers may have no vested interest to photoshop a photo. But they can be ordered to do it.

The DPWH officials will earn pogi points if their photo shows that they are on inspection of the affected areas  right after the calamity.

Why am I bringing out these questions? Because the Department of Public Works Secretary is blaming the photographer for the fiasco. He can not even remember the name.

Here is the news:

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio Singson on Sunday defended his three officials who appeared in an apparent fake photo showing them working at the height of Typhoon Pedring.
“It’s the fault of the photographer and not the officials," Singson said in an ambush interview in Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. “The officials had nothing to do with the fake photo."
Lacierda's oops
Asked why the President is not visible in disaster areas, Lacierda said the President is not fond of “photo ops,” but plans are in place for him to visit areas affected by the storm.

He must have forgotten the past when Pnoy was distributing relief goods. Is he speaking on behalf of the President?
