Occupy Wallstreet , Occupy DC and the NASA

 Dear insansapinas,
Update: As of 11:30, the protesters are still in the Freedom Plaza despite the fact that their 4-day permit has already expired at 20 tonight. No arrests have been made.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is now in DC.  Last Saturday afternoon, Washington's National Air and Space Museum was closed  after sign-wielding demonstrators tried to storm the building on the National Mall.

I have been to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Sayang naman kung masisira dahil sa demonstration.

This is where you will see the following among all others pertaining to air and space projects.

life size astronaut models
space capsule of  Yuri Gagarin, the Russian cosmonaut who was the first to travel in outer space
space suits of Shepard and Gagarin

and the most interesting photo and narration that I found in NASA is this picture of the landing of Mac Arthur at Leyte together with Carlos P. Romulo.
