MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Tourism (DOT) on Friday unveiled a new slogan for the country.
"It's more fun in the Philippines" will be rolled out in international markets while the shorter "#1 for fun Philippines" will be the slogan for the domestic market, according to Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr.
It was launched months after the agency weathered criticism over its failed "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" campaign.
Still, it is not an original idea like the first which was copied from Poland since this was the sales pitch used by Swtizerland in 1951 to promote its tourism. Kayo ha, akala ninyo, hindi mahuhukay. hahahaha. What about if Switzerland "raises" its eyebrows (if it were human) and remark...we've been there, we've used it and it was not effective. o diva.
