A friend who has two kids who were born and raised in the US rang me up.

Little boy: Mom, I want a hot dog.
Mom: But you just had a hotdog this breakfast.
Little Boy: Because when I grow up, I want to become a president.
Mom: Why. do presidents eat hotdogs?
Little Boy: Your president, mom.
Mom: Ow.
Little girl: Is Philippines, very poor mom?
Mom: Why?
Little girl: Because your president eat hotdogs only.
Mom: Naah, he just wanted to eat hotdogs in NY.
Little Girl: Why. don't you have hotdogs in the Philippines?
Mom: We do. You can buy them from the sidewalk too.
Little Girl: But you told us not to buy food from the street vendors. You may never know where they come from.
Wala akong lusot, mare.
Ako rin nagluluto ng hotdog. Hindi hotdog ang tawag namin. Chicken Franks, kasi galing sa chicken

bakit nga ba tinawag na hotdog ang hotdog? e di naman sya galing sa dog meat?
maraming mga gimmik ang mga ito,kumain kaya ako ng hotdog o scramble sa kalye o kaya BBQ betamax at adidas? my baliw kaya na kokodak sakin at ipost sa balita?

alam mo dito ang pagkain ng hotdog hindi ibig sabihin, simple kang tao o mahirap ka.
necessity yon dahil wala silang time pumunta sa mga resto. Ang lunch break kasi dito ay thirty minutes lang. pag one hour walang bayad yon.

pag ang mga tao bayad per hour na mostly ganoon ang practice, mawawalan siya ng one hour o mahigit kung pupunta pa siya sa pinakamalapit na resto na marami ring tao.

kaya either kumain ka ng hotdog bili sa sidewalk o pumunta ka sa resto na maghihintay ka pa ng seating. yon bang hihintayin muna nila kumg may avaiable na table.
