The Anniversary and the Wedding

Dear insansapinas,

April 18 is the 105th anniversary of the Great Earthquake of San Francisco. It was commemorated by a few in Pacifica. As if in response, the earth shook a little. It registered a 3.8 magnitude.

Even I was still in San Francisco, the old buildings and infrastructures were being retrofitted to make them earthquake resistant.

And they did not live happily ever after
I vaguely recall the fairy tale wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. After Princess Di's death,  I am no longer interested about royal families. tseh

This morning, I watched how the British authorities is preparing for the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton this coming April 29, security-wise. They checked every trash bin for bombs and other incendiary device.Hindi na ba pwedeng gamitin iyon? They put a note that the bins have been inspected.

Applications for demonstration during the wedding was not approved and officials are granted pre-emptive policing, which means they can arrest someone before they have all the evidence in, for even planning or inciting a terror act. Those pre-charge detentions can be based on a range of spying methods including phone taps, electronic surveillance and old-fashioned snooping.
Frankly, I don't give a damn about the wedding. Saan nga bang channel ipalalabas?
