Taylor died "peacefully today in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles," said a statement from her publicist. Day Care Business

Dear insansapinas,

Day care business is a good business especially the type which is federally funded. Oo, Virginia.
Kung walang mag-aalaga sa anak mo and you are working or trying to get out of the welfare program of the government by stretching your muscles and let the fingers/hands do some dirty work, the government is going to give you voucher to pay the daycare owner.

Twenty two years old lang at may mga pito na siyang batang inaalagaan.

SISA-nasaan kayo Basilio, Crispin.  I love myself. muwah muwah muwah. mwhehwhwwh.

1. Impeachment of have Merci (I am a victim of politics) on me.

Sus.

This little pig went to Congress to vote yes.
This little pig is no longer Harrison Ford. He needs to be in the Senate.
This little pig did not go to Congress but he tweeted, No and wrote, I will esplain.

2. Quiapo
My tsikiting gubat e-mailed me. He said he went to Quiapo to pray for me. When he was newborn, I had to bring him back to the hospital because he suffered from infection. Those nurses from the nursery did not bother to sterilize the feeding bottle. Several babies who were delivered  on that week were put in the ICU. My tsikiting gubat who was only two days old and whose blood vessels were thin as a piece of hair had to endure the butterfly needle that went with the IV to give him sustenance. The second day of our stay in the hospital, one baby died. I panicked and cried. I went to Quiapo and made haggle with the Boss--to make my baby well.

Now it is the reverse, he's haggling with the Boss to heal me.

His hospitalization gave me the phobia for hospitals. That explains why I never went to hospital after that so much so that my older tsikiting gubat thought that I did not care for him when I refused to visit him in the hospital when he had an appendectomy. Couple that with parental alienation from some relatives, it did look that I did not care. It was only here in the States when I overcame my hospital phobia. It was even a hospital. It was a convalescent hospital. A convalescent is where old people stay while an acute care is where emergency cases and other outpatient or inpatient services are done regardless of the age.

I was doing a business plan and I had to see the inside of a convalescent. There was this old woman who won't get off her bed to go to the bathroom. The nurse can not just force her. She was so fragile and I thought she was suffering from dementia. I offered to assist the nurse. I did not mind if the old woman was wet with pee. She was talking to me. I could afford to wait on her. The nurses can not. They had schedules to follow to see to it that the residents were all washed, fed and taken to their respective places in that convalescent before the director/adminstrator made an ocular inspection to assure th place is running like a timepiece.

The first acute care hospital where I was brought to emergency did not look like and smell like it was a hospital. It looks more like of a five-star hotel.

I hoped when my tsikiting gubat's prayer is not answered, he should not think that the Boss did not listen to him.

With this, let me publish a story forwarded by bayi.

The pharmacy and the book store

Dear insansapinas,

May mukha ba yon?

Banking 101 and Bank Holiday

Dear insansapinas,

May penalty kapag wala ang perang reserve na ito at the end of the day.
Isa pa may capital requirement and bangko. Hindi ka makakapagtayo ng banko kung ang capitalization mo ay di na meet ang subscribed and paid-up capitalization. Nasaan lahat yan?
Salbahe. Ginawang palabigasan ang mga taong nagdedeposito.

Ang mga mahihirap naghuhuldap. Itong mga white collar, nanghuhuldap din. Nakakaloko pa? Tseh.

The Monetary Board, the Bangko Sentral’s policy-making body, had earlier placed the bank under PDIC’s receivership as a result of its financial difficulties.
Central bank Deputy Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr. said those difficulties came about after the bank approved billions of pesos in loans to directors, officers, stockholders and related interests.
“Of its total loan portfolio of P4.1 billion, more than half of that was DOSRI loans,” Espenilla said.

Showbiz Lingo and National Association of Bloggers?

Dear insansapinas,
-Translation-

Translation: Wala na siyang makuhang lead role kaya supporting role, pinagtitiyagaan niya.

 National Association of Bloggers?
Bakit? Tseh.

Mons Romulo Tantoco's true friend

Dear insansapinas,

MY friend had been calling me over the phone. I can't call him back. I am so sleepy that I can't even finish dialing his number without dozing off. Besides, I can't afford to laugh. My abdomen still hurts.

He and his wife have been my friends in the Philippines. When they migrated to the US, he looked for me in the four corners of USA. He is one guy who missed his calling in the Police Academy 4. When we were in College, he would throw himself all over the desk so no one can copy his answers in the tests. Talking about true friends. Yes most of the people I consider as friends are those from my native country. Dito you can not develop friendship because of the barriers--territory and work. Sa Pilipinas, Kay Gandah Koh, the girls can talk about how dumb they are falling in love with the worst men they ever met, kulang na lang sabihing, walang ilong, duling, etc. overnight and repeat the mistake after a few days of cursing the world. They mistook their gas to heartache and held their chests like they were actresses in the Broadway san bottled-bleached hair.

I have only a few faithful friends. There is one who's perfect to discuss show business. We share the same favorite and hated celebrities.

There was one who was good in politics. But when she changed color this year, my calls went straight to her voice mail; No response. I believe that politics is not good for friendship.

There are two or three who offered their shoulders to cry on. But it turns out, it is the other way around. So when you see me walking with one shoulder higher than the other, don't be surrpised.

By this time, you should know why Mons Romulo Tantoco is working on her annullment paper--because of the alleged involvement of her close friend Cita Revilla to her husband, Sander Tantoco

She does not criticize her friend directly but she collected the definitions of a true friend. Subtle hint? Parang si Kris? Dinadaan sa anak?
A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.  — Author Unknown

Radiation, Nurses and Other Stuff Part 2

Dear insansapinas,

Anyway, the procedure was just a means. It is not an end in my quest to make my life more comfortable battling the dreaded C. It eliminated the multiple visits to the clinic for radiation therapy. However, the risk involves the effect in other organs.

Very sympathetic naman yong nurse at nag-attempt siyang i-comfort ako. Pero iniiwasan nga ang ganiyang mga usapan.

I am in the stage of acceptance at kung may magagawa pang maprolong ang buhay, I will welcome it. Vain lang kasi ako. Ayaw kong makalbo.

Anyway, I got to wait for three months more for the results.

Sabi ko I am fond of talking to myself. It does not answer back. mwehehe

Noong hindi ko pa alam, it took the surgeon more than a few hours to wait until my bleeding subsided.

RADIATION,NURSES AND OTHER STUFF

Dear insansapinas,

Hilo pa rin ako. As usual.

Talking about radiation na 24/7 pinag-uusapan sa CNN, sabi ng kapatid ko, the latest procedure that I underwent
is equivalent to 1,000 radiation therapy treatments. Matuk mo yon Virginia, parang may nuclear reactor pala ako sa aking liver just in case.

Sabi niya, tapos na raw at nasa recovery room ako waiting to be transported sa private room.
Masakit ang aking right shoulder at numbed ang aking right hand. Effect daw ng procedure yon. Uhhm.

Dinala na ako sa aking kuwarto. Four hours akong nakahiga ng walang galaw. Complete bed rest.

Nurses

Aheehek Sampal ulit.

O hige. Binigyan ako ng bedpan. Tapos na ako. Tawag ako sa call light. Isa. wala. Ikalawa, wala. Nagdoze off ako.

No kayo, maka Nora ako, anoh.

Bwahahaha,

Tseh,

Tinanong ako ng server how was my food daw. Sabi ko naman, it is good, thank you.

Tsunamis in the Philippines

Dear insansapinas,

It all started when I remembered the story of my grandmother about the tsunami that struck their island.
The company had built a seawall made of timber which must have cautioned the impact of the tsunami. Nevertheless, she said that the moment they saw the water receded, they tied themselves in the coconut trees to avoid being swept away to the ocean. I did not know if there were casualties, all I can remember was that she mentioned that the cocounut trees merely bent and swayed with the waves and the family was safe.

I did not understand the story since I was very young then. Didn't even know what tidal wave was. All I know was, it left fear in my heart that every time I saw the waves, it reminded me of the story. I did not know the exact year so I did a little research and I found the following information from Tsunamis which I tabulated below.
All the tables below indicated the dates and the locations where the tsunamis struck. The intensity column refers to the magnitude of eaethquake that triggered the tsunamis including those from the neighboring countries. It can be observed that it was only later when the intensities were measured. It was a problem of what standard to use?

Are we going yo be hit by tsunami?

Table 1 shows the tsunamis in Western Luzon Island from 1627
to 1934.

The most visited place of tsunamis is Western Luzon with 27 recorded events from 1627 to 1937. The last tsunami was in 1937 yet. Why did it stop? Is there any possibility that it is going to strike again in this region?
It has been 74 years since 1937. The longest time that there was no tsunami in Western Luzon was between 1824 and 1770 or a total of 54-tsunami free period.

Cheating 101 and Blind Item na hindi blind

Dear insansapinas,

Una may narinig akong nagclick. Ngiii.

Pero hindi yan ang aking blog. Pasakalye lang. Play it again Sam.

Pinatay yong pinakapopular, pinakamatalino at pinakamagandang istudyante. Take note. Bottled Water.

So impromptu exam. Makikick out kasi. Salbahe.

Nora Aunor missed the boat

Dear insansapinas,

If I were to believe TV5 press release and the surveys of the Kantar and AGB Nielsen that Talentadong Pinoy dominated the weekend top shows, then Nora Aunor had missed the boat.

It was rumored (?) that she's coming to the Philippines to be one of the judges of the reality show but failed to show up so that many celebrities took her place.

Another rumor is that she was sighted in Canada playing in the casino. Why in Canada? Perhaps because she is already easily recognized in the casinos in the California area.

Can psychics predict earthquakes?

Dear insansapinas,

I woke up today with a message from a fellow blogger if ever I had the premonition about  the earthquake in Japan because he said he did.

Since I was diagnosed with C last 2007, I completely turned off my radar. So it means I am operating 7 out of 10 brain cells of my psychic bandwidth. BUT, when you have it, no matter what you do to suppress this instant message from the other realm, it still can come, like the internet, it could come  back door and in my case, it comes in my dream.

But before I discuss my latest dream that kept me awake last Thursday (see my blog in Friday) let me tell you what the "sensitive people" feel when there is going to be a calamity like earthquake. First, there is the unexplainable fear of the earthquake. It seems you feel like there is an earthquake when there is none. Para bang naramdaman mo ba? Ang alin? Ang earthquake? Anong earthquake?

When the earthquake in early 1990's happened, a week before, (my radar was still on), I had this irrational fear of going out. I felt that something was going to happen. I run out of excuses of not coming out so I met my friend in her office where she had several visitors from other countries. That was 12th floor. Then earthquake struck. I tell you, no matter what religion you got or you are a professed atheist, the first that you will call is GOD.

So no one can predict earthquake; not even the scientists with the most advanced technology and the people with psychic abilities can not just tell the people, to keep safe because an earthquake is coming or else he/she will be lynched for sowing fear. For people who make money for having the gift of vision, it is a blessing. For people who chose not to become rich by using the "gift" for money-making, it is a curse. Besides a vision is only a vision which remains to be interpreted. Oftentimes, there were other interpretations or meaning given to it. So a person with the "gift"  just keeps it to himself/herself and worry what is that uncanny feeling that won't go away . Then the EARTHQUAKE strikes and he realized that was his fear all about.

For several nights until last Thursday, I had been dreaming of water. The ocean. One dream was about me riding on a boat which was going to that part of the ocean where water had completely receded.

One interpretation of that kind of dream is travel. Me, travel? Malayo. Then, there was a dream of people queueing. I do not want to join. All around was devastation.  Besides hindi sila mga Pinoys. When I woke up, I thought, it is a premonition of my coming terms to my mortality, nakapila sa pinto ni San Pedro.

These dreams lasted only for a few minutes, then I woke up and slept again for a few minutes to wake up horrified. I saw a pit where there were people and fire and water were falling from out if the sky. Impyerno? Hindi, ang liit naman. Hindi magkakasya ang politicians natin. Whooops.

The other dreams shook me that I do not want to close my eyes.Aside from hurting, I finished a novel just so I remained awake.
Then came the photos in CNN. It was deja vu.
