Gloria Economists nasa kay Noynoy na

 Dear insansapinas,

MANNY PANGILINAN SPEECH IN XAVIER UNIVERSITY IN N 2007 ALSO PLAGIARIZED

Dear insansapinas,
I thought it was honorable for Manny V. Pangilinan to offer resignation from the Board of Ateneo when his speeches in this year's commencement exercises in Ateneo were discovered to have been plagiarized. But according to Katrina Stuart Santiago, the plagiarism can be traced as far back as 2007. Did he have the same speech writer?

His speech in Xavier University where he was conferred  with honorary degree in April 2007.

MVP said:
"As for myself, I have always believed in the strenuous life, in the life of labor and effort. The highest form of success comes not to the man who desires easy peace or inherits instant wealth, but to the man who does not shrink from risks, from hardship, or from bitter toil."
This portion was copied from the speech STRENOUS LIFE  delivered by THEODORE ROOSEVELT ( US president) on April 10, 1899 in Hamilton College.

He wrote:

I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the life of toil and effort, of labor and strife; to preach that highest form of success which comes, not to the man who desires mere easy peace, but to the man who does not shrink from danger, from hardship, or from bitter toil, and who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph.

"I just want you to do me a favor. Just one favor. Exercise your right to dream. Sure, you must face reality — that which is. But dream of a reality that ought to be — that must be. I want you to be what John F. Kennedy wanted himself to be — ‘an idealist without any illusions.’ You may or may not get there, but know that you must try. And you hold on, and hold out. Our country will be better for it. Insist on heroes. Become one."-Martin Luther King

"PLDT  CEO:  MANNY  PANGILINAN'S  PRESCRIPTION  FOR  SUCCESS

MANILA
,
APRIL 14, 2007 (STAR) By Sharon L. Flores - In the course of his legendary 30-year career, he has borne many titles: managing director, president, CEO and chairman of the board. He is even dubbed the "most valuable player" in the telecommunications industry. Now, he can add "doctor" to his illustrious credentials.
Last March 23, PLDT and Smart chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan was conferred a doctorate in the humanities, honoris causa, by Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan for his achievements in business and management, exemplary leadership, unflinching commitment to country and integrity. The honorary doctorate degree was presented by university president Fr. Jose Ramon Villarin SJ during the institution’s 68th commencement exercise.
More than 1,500 graduates had a rare audience with Pangilinan, whose leadership steered PLDT to become the dominant telecommunications company in the Philippines while serving as CEO and managing director of international holdings behemoth First Pacific Company Limited and chairman of Metro Pacific Corporation.
During the academic convocation, he exhibited candor and humility in receiving the honor. His speech was peppered with insights as he talked about the simple yet important life lessons he gleaned through years of work, travel and life experiences.
Unknown to his young audience, Pangilinan has been to Cagayan de Oro previously. It was in his early days as a sales trainee when he used to crisscross Mindanao, from Davao to Zamboanga, all the way to Basilan, Tawi-Tawi and Sulu. Like some of them, he was a student who came from humble beginnings and got by on meager means. Before he graduated from Ateneo de Manila, he expressed his desire to take up his MBA abroad but his family couldn’t afford it. He had to join a nationwide competition to see his dream through. He won the coveted scholarship to Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the world’s top business schools.
The graduates were also surprised to know that Pangilinan is among the millions of Filipinos who have braved foreign shores for better and more lucrative opportunities.
"For those of you thinking of working abroad, I can indeed relate to your dream, because I was an OCW myself," he revealed. "I left the country for a number of reasons. I regarded my career here to lie at a dead end, with prospects for the company I worked for as being limited and confining. I wanted a fresh and exciting career. There was, of course, the attraction of a better pay offshore. And while our extended family system gave me a lot of comfort and warmth, I wanted to be accountable to myself, to stand on my own, and be independent."
He detailed how, as an OFW in Hong Kong in 1981, he was tasked to grow an investment firm starting with only six people, 50 square meters of office space and meager capital. That company was First Pacific, currently employing around 80,000 people across Southeast Asia, with a robust portfolio that includes Indofoods, the largest noodle maker in the world and the largest food company in Indonesia; and, of course, PLDT, the No. 1 telco in the Philippines.
As for the secrets of success, the graduates were all ears to Pangilinan’s revelations.
"When it comes to success, there are no secrets, no magic, no mystery. Success springs from old-fashioned values — values as basic as being honest and truthful, especially with yourself. Values as essential as working hard, playing fair, and seeking no harm on others.
"Yet, if I were to identify which qualities in a person best substantiate success, I would say that it is the spirit of enterprise and the passionate determination to succeed. Regrettably, the problem we as a people face today is precisely the converse of enterprise and passion — and these are apathy and (the desire for) the ‘sure thing’ — segurista at bahala na.
"As for myself, I have always believed in the strenuous life, in the life of labor and effort. The highest form of success comes not to the man who desires easy peace or inherits instant wealth, but to the man who does not shrink from risks, from hardship, or from bitter toil."
By this part of the speech, the crowd is hanging on to his every word, laughing at every joke, nodding at every turn, absorbing whatever they can.
It was during this time that he unveiled his life lessons, culled from years of trial and error on the path to right living. He broke it down to five simple steps, all grounded on truth and plain common sense, that he urged his listeners to practice and take to heart.
"First, hug and kiss whoever helped get you — financially, emotionally, intellectually, morally — to this day. Don’t let the sun go down today without saying thank you to someone, and without admitting to yourself that absolutely no one gets this far, alone.
"Second, don’t forget that you have a body under your toga. Take good care of it.
"Third, don’t forget that you have brains at your disposal. If I show up at your house 10 years from now and find nothing in your living room but Readers’ Digest, nothing on your bedroom night table but pirated DVDs, and nothing in your bathroom but tabloids, I’ll be mightily disappointed. That would be a waste of your education here at Xavier. Try to remember that there’s more to life than Pinoy Big Brother or American Idol, more than Boom Tarat-Tarat or Itaktak Mo!
"Fourth, give away one peso for every P10 you make. Why? I saw my mother pass away five years ago, and she left this world without anything. Which means you’re not the owner of what you think you own. You’re only a steward because everything’s on loan. So pass some of it on.
"Fifth, stay in the Philippines. I was born here and I will die here. It’s true that I spent some years of my life abroad, but I have returned to give a part of my life back to this country, and the place to start giving back is the place where you are right now — Cagayan de Oro. But if you do decide to depart our sunny shores for greener pastures abroad, may there always be a part of you that will remain enduringly Filipino. And may you perennially possess that durable sense of longing to come home one day — just as I did."
Instead of the traditional closing, where one can be easily caught making sweeping statements, Pangilinan opted for down-to-earth brevity. To his eager audience, he chimed in one last request.
Become one."

Currently, Pangilinan serves as chairman of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), an institution dedicated to uplifting Filipinos through micro-financed entrepreneurship, scholarships and outreach. He has taken the Makati Medical Center under his wing as chairman. He is also busy bringing Internet access to schools by donating Smart Labs under the Smart Schools Program. The initiative implemented through the PBSP, with the support of the Department of Education and Microsoft’s Partners in Learning Program, donates computer stations equipped with DSL or WiFi broadband plus teacher training to public schools and chosen educational institutions. During his trip to Cagayan, he donated two Smart Bro Labs, one at Xavier University and the other at the Misamis Oriental Comprehensive High School.
As an avid sportsman, Pangilinan is committed to bringing sports to the youth. He is one of the vanguards of badminton in the country. The annual MVP Cup Intercontinental Badminton Championship allows Filipinos to witness world-class play from the finest players in Asia against the best in Europe. He is also the president of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. In his brief visit to Xavier University, he made a personal donation to upgrade their sports facilities.
In 2005, he was recognized as Management Man of the Year by the Management Association of the Philippines and Man of the Year by BizNews Asia. He was also bestowed the Distinguished World Class Businessman Award by the Association of Makati Industries in the same year. In 2006, Pangilinan was honored the Order of Lakandula, rank of Komandante by the Office of the President of the Philippines. Most recently, he received the CEO (Communication Excellence in Organizations) EXCEL Award from the International Association of Business Communicators.

Manuel V. Pangilinan's Keynote Remarks on the inauguration the new Rizal Library

 Dear insansapinas,
Someone e-mailed me requesting  to blog the plagiarized portions of the speeches of Manny Pangilinan. It turned out that the commencement address last March was not the first the plagiaeism was committed.

On his keynote remarks during the inauguration of the new lbrary of Ateneo, the plagiarized part s were  copied from a speech which was also about the library. What else? (Stupid me) You be the judge kahit hindi kayo libro.

The full text of the speech can be read here.

The plagiarized portions are in these following paragraphs.

Libraries are as old as civilization.  From the 30,000 clay tablets found in the library of Ashurbanipal at Nineveh, to the computers of a modern library – stretch more than five thousand years of man’s insatiable desire to establish written immortality, insure the continuity of culture and civilization, to share his wisdom, his dreams, his memory, and his story with the rest of mankind, and with future generations.

Libraries hold humanity’s collective memory – they are the diaries of the human race.  They are a window to the future.  They are a source of hope.   They are the roots of self-renewal.  They represent the link between the solitary individual and mankind.  The library is the university of universities, for it contains the source and unity of knowledge.

These portions were copied  from the keynote address delivered by Dr. Vartan Gregorian of the Carnegie Corporation during the White House Conference on School Libraries

Dr. Vartan wrote:

Libraries are as old as civilization-the object of pride, envy and sometimes senseless destruction. From the clay tablets of Babylon to the computers of a modern library stretch more than five thousand years of man's and woman's insatiable desire to establish written immortality and to insure the continuity of culture and civilization, to share their memory, their wisdom, their strivings, their fantasies, their longings, and their experiences with mankind and with future generations.

Libraries have always occupied a central role in our culture. They contain our nation's heritage, the heritage of humanity, the record of its triumphs and failures, the record of mankind's intellectual, scientific and artistic achievements. They are the diaries of the human race. They contain humanity's collective memory. They are not repositories of human endeavor alone. They are instruments of civilization. They provide tools for learning, understanding and progress. They are a source of information, a source of knowledge, a source of wisdom; hence they are a source of action. They are a laboratory of human endeavor. They are a window to the future. They are a source of hope. They are a course of self-renewal. They represent the link between the solitary individual and mankind, which is our community. The library is the university of universities, for it contains the source and the unity of knowledge. The library is the only true and free university. There are no entrance examinations, no subsequent examinations, no diplomas, no graduations, for no one can graduate-or ever needs to!-from a library.

Seagal, Sex Slaves, Comma and Speeches

 Dear insansapinas,

Nagtatype ako ng mga numbers. May comma akong inerase, di maerase. Yon pala dumi sa screen. Toinkkk.

Seagal, may sex slaves?

(it was in her FB).  Ha?
“plagiarized speeches since 2007
“i used to tell my students that if i catch them plagiarizing one paper, it would put into question all other papers they had written before it. whoever MVP’s speechwriters are, they’ve been giving him plagiarized speeches since 1997.”

Bedbugs Going Global

Dear insansapinas,
Bedbugs or surot, insan. Arghhhh

Ceglowski, 34, a computer programmer who now lives in Romania, told CNN: "I realized that there was no effective treatment for bedbugs except avoidance. I thought I could help people by warning them about the dangers and where there are bedbug infestations."
He says his Web site, The Bedbug Registry, now receives between 10,000 and 15,000 visitors daily and up to 100 reports a day of infestations in hotels and apartment blocks, mainly in New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.

May bayad yon eh.

Tseh nila ulit.
Nasaan ba yong aking tirador? Mamaya kasi isang kawan na yan. Nagtsisismisan.

Pinaysaamerika
 Dear insansapinas,
Pinag-explain ba siya about the publication of the Psychiatric Evalution of Noynoy Aquino?

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS
On the morning of Thursday, April 8, I called a meeting of our top editorial minds to discuss a potentially explosive document given to us by a source from the Nacionalista Party. It was a report allegedly done by Ateneo’s Psychology Department on Sen. Benigno Aquino III signed by Fr. Carmelo Caluag.

If true, it could spell the end of Sen. Aquino’s campaign.
If we didn’t pursue the story, we could give our source reason to say we are biased. If we did, we could potentially wade into a morass of ethical issues dealing with the mental health of the frontrunner for the presidency.
True or false, we decided to do the story and air it in the coming days. We didn’t believe there was any rush because we thought our source had given us a headstart. That proved a wrong assumption.
A short time later, we received the same document from another source connected to the Nacionalista Party.

At 1:45 pm, we received the first of a series of email messages asking us if this document is authentic. This was particularly interesting because it came from a multilateral financial institution. When I scrolled down, it had been forwarded numerous times, already spreading virally on email.

Around 2:30 pm, we received text messages giving potentially damaging details about Sen. Aquino’s mental health under this heading “A1 Info – Psychiatric Evaluation Form of Benigno Aquino III.”
Is it true? Given how fast it was spreading, we rushed to verify. We believed it best to go to the two people named in the document: the subject, Sen Aquino, and the signatory, Fr. Carmelo “Tito” Caluag. (If we had gone to others first, they may alert those involved and trigger an organized reaction).

I called Fr. Caluag, and he denied the report, saying he wasn’t a psychologist or psychiatrist and that his signature was lifted from other documents.

Ces Orena-Drilon, on the campaign trail with Sen. Aquino, showed him the document and his initial reaction, she said, was to laugh. He spoke openly - no PR spin, no consultations - and denied the document’s authenticity.

At that point, TV Patrol World was about to start. It was a stretch to make it to air, but we did - an anchor read followed by a live report from Drilon. We outlined the events of the day, key points of the three-page report circulating on email and text, and – most importantly - the denials of Fr. Caluag and Sen. Aquino.

It was the first public denial of a salacious document masquerading as fact. By disclosing our sources without naming names, we gave our viewers a glimpse of what was going on behind the scenes.
That is why this story is important. Events are never isolated so context defines the story’s value.

Three days earlier, the Nacionalista Party used the word “topak” to describe Aquino.

Alan Peter Cayetano, secretary-general of the Nacionalista Party. This statement echoed earlier remarks by Villar spokesman Gilbert Remulla on ANC.

The context of this fake document story seems to show an NP campaign to question Sen. Aquino’s mental health, something its standard-bearer, Sen. Manuel Villar publicly did on DZMM on Saturday, April 10.

The Nacionalista Party denied they gave the documents to ABS-CBN and challenged us to name our sources. They publicly declared we are biased for Sen. Aquino.

Yet, earlier, party representatives thanked us for airing our exclusive video of Baby James Yap saying "Villar" at a campaign rally of about 15,000 people. That video has since been replayed by another network and spread online by Sen. Villar’s supporters. (Airing that video ruffled feathers within the Liberal Party and our own network).

Nacionalista Party representatives also thanked us for disclosing two weeks ago that sources from the Liberal party gave ABS-CBN the documents questioning Sen. Villar’s ad campaign. Although the documents are authentic, the intent to demolish is the same. The Liberal Party also denied giving those documents to ABS-CBN.
Frankly, it’s shocking to see such blatant distortions of the truth. Oh, how I wish we could disclose our sources, but those are the standards we live by.

In other nations, news organizations routinely report on demolition teams and black ops as part of the election landscape. Negative advertising is part of the game. When candidates use this, they are transparent and accept the risk that it could backfire against them.
In our country, candidates prefer to hide behind – and manipulate - journalists.

To the political parties, we do not write stories because we are for or against you. We aim to tell it like it is. After all, how you run your campaigns gives us an idea of how you will run our nation.

PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION FOR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

Dear insansapinas,
I see nothing wrong if the candidates in this year's election undergo psychiatric evaluation.  I believe that
the President should be physically fit and mentally stable.

Aquino has demanded an apology from ABS-CBN for airing the report.
Regardless of the truth or falsity of this report, former Sen. Francisco Tatad proposed during a press forum in Quezon City on Saturday that all candidates in the May election voluntarily submit themselves to psychiatric testing in order to establish beyond doubt their mental and psychological fitness to hold public office.

The Dream- Maria Venus Raj

Dear insansapinas,

DETHRONED BEAUTY QUEEN MARIA Venus Raj can keep her title that was taken from her less than a month after her coronation as the country’s official representative to the Miss Universe beauty pageant.
In a statement sent Saturday to the Inquirer, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) said: “… After due deliberation, we have reassessed the situation pertaining to [Raj] and have decided, for humanitarian reasons, that if she is able to obtain a valid Philippine passport, we will reinstate her as Binibining Pilipinas-Universe.”

Food for Flight

 Dear insansapinas,

Sandi Mays was flying home from a business trip recently when she was seated next to a couple who couldn't wait to eat. She, on the other hand, was about to lose her appetite.
The minute the seatbelt sign was turned off after takeoff, her neighbors rushed to open their carry-on in the overhead bin and pulled out a plastic bag with a surprise.

"Within the grocery bag, there were Tupperware containers full of some kind of food that had a lot of curry and garlic and onions and all those yummy scents. They're fine when you're not enclosed in a tube," recalled Mays, 42, a telecom executive from suburban Denver Colorado.

What's that smell? nyehehehe.

Airline Fees for Use of Bathroom

Dear insansapinas,

Spirit Airlines announced Tuesday that it will charge its customers $20 to $45 for items they place in the overhead bins. The cost depends on whether passengers are members of the airline's ultra-low fare club and whether they "pre-reserve" their carry-on bag in advance.
Each passenger will still be able to bring one personal item that fits under a seat for free, such as a purse, briefcase, backpack or laptop computer. They also won't have to pay extra for items such as diaper bags, pet containers and cameras.

Ryanair, which is based in Dublin, Ireland, and bills itself as "Europe's first and largest low fares airline," is mulling a plan that would require travelers to pay either 1 euro or 1 British pound (about $1.33 or $1.52) for using the bathroom on flights lasting one hour or less.
The plan, titled "Ryanair Cost Saving Proposal," was published in the airline's inflight magazine.
The carrier said it is working with Boeing to develop a coin-operated door release so that when nature calls, passengers would need to deposit the change before being able to use the facilities.

TOink.

Hysterical Pregnancy

Dear insansapinas,

This is not about pregnant women going hysterics because they are pregnant. The other name for hysterical pregnancy is false pregnancy or pseudocyesis for humans.

Remember the dialogue about medical graduates from the Philippines in the Desperate Housewives. Well these doctors who performed the C-section on a woman who is not really pregnant cause the concerns of the people who learned that they are still working in the hospital.

With all these advanced technology to find out if there is a baby inside or not, the
false pregnancy could have been detected like what happened in the case of Law and Order where the daughter who has the electra syndrome believed that she is pregnant by her daddy. All physical symptoms were present.

Remember when there was a pregnant man ( not the latest) who was very popular because he had the media's attention? He just had the couvade syndrome.

Psychiatric Evaluation of Noynoy Aquino is bogus--Caluag

 Dear insansapinas,

The alleged document, supposedly signed by Fr. Carmelo "Tito" Caluag, assessed Aquino as suffering from major depressive disorder, and recommended continuing therapy.According to the alleged document, a sister of Aquino reported that she was "worried" that he has been depressed for 10 days.
The "document" also said that he has problems with his speech and in concentrating, due to tensions related to work and his separation from his flight attendant girlfriend.
The document also alleged that Aquino has a history of smoking, drinking, and use of marijuana when he was still in his teenage years.

DC, Dizzy

 Dear insansapinas,

Sneezing your head off. Runny nose. Itchy eyes. Pollen. It's back.
We all know how famous Washington is for its allergies. If you think it's extra bad right now, you are right. The pollen count Wednesday is triple that of Tuesday. A whopping 4000 grams per cubic meter. That puts it in the extremely high range. If you are like lots of us, you can say, "I knew that," because you are miserably aware of how bad your allergies are today.

A D.C.-bound plane landed in Omaha after a passenger forced her way into first class screaming “terrorist” and pointing a finger at attendants aboard United Airlines Flight 142, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.
oh hindi ba kayo maloloka niyan.

When Kids act like Kids and Adult act like kids

Dear insansapinas,

Sabi ni Noynoy Aquino to Villar: Don’t exploit Baby James.

In her Twitter account, Kris also apologized to Noynoy and to her sisters.
“Nag-sorry ako to Noy & my sisters right away & they told me siempre he's 2 yrs old–terrible 2s. Moral of the story–we let him be 2 while guiding him to be a good boy,” Kris Twitted last Monday, April 5.

She added, “Hay naku, ang ka naughty-han ni Bimby [nickname of Baby James]! Talagang heaven's way of making me feel all I did before to stress Mom. True, he said "Veeyar" in Bacolod rally. Nag naughty siya kasi 10th event namin that day–pagod na. Bimby is sikat so nasa news.”

Noong una dinismiss yon as a person who is passionate in her work. Adult acting as kids.

The Headlines that gave me a headache

 Dear insansapinas,

Kagaya nito.

Guard shoots dead fisherman

The incident will be further investigated to determine the motive of the killing, said police.
Toinkkk

Akala ko patay na pinatay pa. Tinding galit naman yan.

Ikalawang headline:

Videos -Baby James for Villar and Stripping Naked video of Badu

Dear insansapinas,

Sus.

Self Esteem - A RANT

Dear insansapinas,

I decided not to stress myself participating in a political forum so I said tataaaa. First I am already stressed out by the deadline of my book project. I do not think I can finish the book Accounting Information System before June.

Second is that a fanatic Noynoy fan shut me up yesterday. Oh, this was not the first time, I met that kind of commenter in a forum...pag walang maisagot, pepersonalin ka. And to think I thought her specialization which is diplomacy would make her tactful in responding to criticisms.Besides, she was schooled in several universities abroad and her mother was a former senator. Did I expect that kind of response from her? Naah.

The thread was about Noynoy and the issue raised was about the lame excuse of his followers that there are already so many laws so that Noynoy did not file so many during his term as senator.

So I quoted from my article which I wrote for that particular group blog entitled Bills Filed and the Bills Paid by the Senators of the 14th Congress. It was noted and filed by Senator Miriam Aquino in her Facebook.

To my dismay, the lady did not respond to the issue I raised in that article,  that is how come the senators who had the lowest number of bills filed (Noynoy included) incurred expenses which were at the level of those who filed a bigger number of bills. It was a question of productivity and cost efficiency.

Instead of answering directly, she accused me of  tooting my horn because I quoted my own article. (Huh? kamot ulo) for reference. (In fact except for the source and the contributor, The Cat, the site shows as if it was written by Miriam Santiago and there was no link in my cathcath website, so I was also pissed).

I did not even mention that this article is number one in the search for this topic in the Google. O di va.

Pagkatapos she recited the sins and omissions of Manny Villar and no matter what people say...blah blah that she will still go for Noynoy. So I do not give a damn. I am not like other people who tried to convince other readers to change their candidate... and I was not even for Villar.

One rule that I followed in joining a forum is I see to it that my response is relevant to topic being discussed.

To accuse me of being Villar-ans (may word ba na ganito), she  must  be so desperate to see Noynoy  win or she must be feeling disappointed that she can not convinced many people to change and go with Noynoy.

First, I clarified that the article was written early January 2009, the time when people had no idea who are running for the presidential election. Second, I never defended Villar about the C5  because I thought that the proper venue for such a corruption case is the court and not in the privacy of e-mails of individuals who do not want to receive forwards (Di pa sila magkaroon ng sariling opinion, umaamen na lang sila kung ano man ang isulat tungkol sa kanilang paboritiong kandidato) and blogs of Noynoy cultists who gathered all positive articles about Noynoy and discard anything negative that may affect his candidacy. I respect people's preference. I avoid as much possible to talk about politics.

She mentioned about how I defended Villar in his SALN. This lady did not get it. I did not defend Villar, I just questioned the assumptions she made or her consultants  in writing that article. It was all about accounting concepts and principles.

That was the first time that she insulted me when she said that she believed that her consultants were more qualified than I am because they are CPAs and are teaching in the the undegrad. But she never asked her consultants about my questions.

(dean, silly).

Then she also mentioned about my reaction that Tondo was a place of aristocrats, the new rich people in defense of Villar again.

This lady was born abroad and has stayed abroad most of the time. She must have never set foot in Tondo and smelled the whiff of air coming from the Smokey Mountain before it was leveled off to the ground in 1995. It operated for 40 years.  She must not have walked on the wood planks that served as walkway for squatters that populated the dead esteros because of the trash that were thrown by the residents day after day that when flood comes, you will literally wade in the pile of garbage or swim in the trash.

Am I embarrassed? Daming pagkain. mwehehee

Tapos siguro napahiya kaya sabi na lang sa akin ay between me and her consultants, mas matatanggap pa raw sila para magturo sa Harvard. Hahahaha. Ano bata.

Was it my self -esteem which was hurt? Naah. I always believe in myself, not the arrogant way but I can face anybody whoever he is. even  a president of a country and I will not feel intimidated.

First time someone commented about my credentials was when I was establishing a school in California.
The sister of my friends who commissioned me to do the study and the proposal said without blinking, Eh ano naman ang magagawa niyan eh graduate lang yan sa Pinas.
So they invited one lady from the academe who was already teaching in California to help them do the job.  Okay lang sa akin.

Nothing came out. So I prepared one and pursued the project until it became operational. Except for stricter compliance to the requirements and easier to prepare legal documents, there are hardly no difference at all. Kasi naman ang mga libro natin at curriculum patterned after US.

The other time  was when I advised a relative who was pursuing an MBA to change her adviser. The adviser had  a Doctorate, yes...Divinity and her thesis was about some women leaders/achievers  in the industry. As to what industry, it was not even specified.

Acheche.
