Forgiveness 1
According to Oxford English Dictionary forgiveness is 'to grant free pardon and to give up all claim on account of an offense or debt'.
The President can forgive the prisoners by granting pardon to set him free. The President just did that for a cancer stricken inmate. His first.

Pero ano ito?
TVPatrol: "Unang Pinoy na binigyan ni PNoy ng executive clemency, patay na pala." | AANHIN PA ang patawad mo, kung patay na si lolo?

Forgiveness 2
On a personal note, the kids of the individual who caused me a lot of distress and depression sent me handmade cards and a letter.
It left me a whole sleepless night deciding if I am going to respond. I am trying to forget the years when I was consumed by anger that gave me physical and mental consequences contributing to the pain of the ill health. I have accepted the fact that he did not regard me as part of his life anymore.
But children are not to be blamed by the sins of the fathers. So I decided to write a note and sent thank you cards. I wished they have left me in peace. Now I will be full of expectations again.
Forgiveness is that character of a strong person. Maybe I am not really that strong.
